Share-Project
■What is Share-Project?
We, the members of Share-Project is a group of university students, have been providing a workshop for students from all over Japan to study a little more about finance, since year 2000.
Our Vision; "Open Academy"
We have provided workshops for those undergraduate and postgraduate students who are interested in finance. Not only do we tend to provide the space for "study" but also have provided the space for "interaction" between students. Through this, we aim to achieve our vision; "Open Academy". By achieving this aim, we hope to provide a network regardless of age or occupation.
Vision
【Needed Knowledge, when you become a member of the society】
At the workshops, we hope every student to learn something from it. The workshops will be taught to students by the professionals who are currently working at the fields. This will encourage students to think out of what is really needed by us all, in the near future, when we all start to work.

【Interaction between students】
As already stated, we hope to create a new community at which students will be able to communicate with each other regardless of their age or future occupation. Therefore, at the workshops, we split students into groups of 4-6 students, and encourage students to interact. We offer various tasks which will be compete by the groups.

【Students-Alumni, Alumni-Alumni connection】
We will look after every student who has joined our workshops. Every year, we have held "Traffix", where both students and alumni can join. There, we hope new communication will be made.

【History of Share-Project】
It was in year 2000 when our first workshop was held. That time, over 150 students were split into 20 teams, and all groups were first given a lecture and went onto do some course works (We still continue this today).
In 2001, we started introducing our own textbooks which we re-write and improve every year.
Two years later, in 2003, we tried out a workshop on M&A, which resulted in great success. Since then, the main two workshops offered by us, Share-Project, has been a course on Asset Management and another to tell the work done at Investment Banks and M&A. Every year, new members have came up with new ideas on what to provide for participants, and this year we are hoping to provide a workshop on Venture Capital, and another especially designed for the newcomers to finance. We also hope to offer a short-term work shop in Kansai region, as well as the two normal workshops, which has been held for the last eight years.
